It appears that my Comanche was on display at the January 2003 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA

The build date is Oct 28, 2002, possibly on display from Jan. 16-19 in Anaheim, CA, and it was bought by Buffalo Brothers in Carlsbad, CA at the end of the month. I bought it used off Ebay later in 2003.
This Comanche is pretty unique: transparent blonde over swamp ash, gold hardware, a rosewood fretboard, and a gun oil tint neck finish -- in fact, I cannot find evidence for another just like it. I have found two more with gold hardware from the same run but one has a maple fretboard and the other is finished in opaque vintage white. It appears they were made together in a single batch of gold HW Comanches.
