Bottom line, a 24 fret PRS will have a brighter neck pickup than a 22-fret model. I was never much of a neck humbucker player until I got a Custom 24. After that revelation I ended buying a couple more 24-fret guitars (EBMM and a TAG) and use the neck humbuckers probably as much as I do the bridge pickup.
