You'll notice that Molly Tuttle uses the classic Mel Bay plectrum grip. The index finger is not pointing down toward the tip of the pick / strings but pointing back toward the bridge. Basically, any grip that keeps the plectrum on the side of the index finger and away from the fingerprint is a classic, traditional, or Mel Bay grip of some variation. If you move the pick up a little further toward the second knuckle you have the Van Eps grip.
